Alumni Spotlight: Blanche Tarabrella
Blanche graduated in 2019 and served as Business Manager on the TIP executive board her senior year. She played Belle (and Cinderella one time lol).

"My favorite TIP memory was our first TIP tea Party fundraiser event. I made friends with another little princess Belle and we were best friends for the afternoon. Sarah Heise even captioned a picture of her and I looking at one another saying "one of us is going to have to change." Additionally, Preston Nguyen, my long-time boyfriend was also a photographer at that event and I got to share that memory with him, playing games and bringing joy to children and their families."

Blanche is currently in her last semester of Pennsylvania State University's Master of Architecture program. Her main focuses are taking care of her own body (she does OrangeTheory Fitness) and getting through graduate school.
The week before the world shut down due to COVID, she was at Walt Disney World on spring break on a Disney Design Trip lead by a PennState faculty member who used to work in one of Walt's Legacy Positions. During that trip, she learned so much amazing behind the scenes information about the company's values and design techniques.
Post-graduation, she is applying to attend Disney's College Program (DCP) for summer 2022. She is originally from FL, so if the DCP doesn't happen, she will stay with her parents and do a summer internship. Then, she will move back to Pittsburgh in the fall where her long-time boyfriend is earning his PhD in Material Science Engineering. She will be looking for associate architect positions in the fall. After her boyfriend graduates, they hope to travel and settle down around some major city. They aren't sure where (they are going "into the unknown" hehe) but will hopefully get married and have kids of their own someday.

Blanche wants everyone to know that "TIP in general was one of the highlights of college and I feel so honored to be a part of its early establishment and legacy!"
